Design Your Own Historic Building Cookie
10:00am-12:00pm
Come to the Bingham-Waggoner Estate and decorate a historic house-shaped cookie that you can eat or take with you when completed. Use our historic images and preservation success stories for inspiration. Decorating is free and first come, first serve to all ages. Free tours of the property will be offered for everyone who designs a cookie. Learn about future plans at the Bingham Waggoner Estate while on tour.

Antique & Craft Fair

Experience the 37th annual Antique and Craft Fair on the grounds of the Historic Bingham-Waggoner Estate! Stroll through over 100 booths featuring original crafts, antiques and outstanding collectibles available for purchase.
Admission and parking are free.

Independence Uncorked Winefest
1:00-6:00pm
Join us for the Annual Independence Uncorked Wine Festival on the grounds of the Historic Bingham-Waggoner Estate. One of the largest Missouri wine festivals in the state, sample wines from over 25 Missouri wineries. The day features art, music, beer, food booths, and wine classes. So, bring your lawn chairs and spend the afternoon enjoying great food, great music, and great wine.

Mary at the Mansion
WOW! Another free event at the Bingham-Waggoner. The Carriage House will be transformed into a facial spa. Experience a splendidly cleansed face with a dewy finish. All products are hypoallergenic, noncomedogenic and no animal testing was used. This mega skin care class will be facilitated by the knowledgeable Mary Kay consultant, Carla Harold. She is a Sales director with over 20 years of experience. She has agreed to donate 35% of all sales back to the Bingham. Fragrances can be tested and a full range of products will be available just in time for Christmas shopping. In addition to skin care expertise you will have an assortment of snacks and refreshments and an opportunity to schedule your very personalized color consultation. No tickets are required for this event but call Madeline to reserve your spot in the Carriage House at 816-509-2685. This way we will have enough beauty supplies on hand. This will be held on October 3rd at 1 PM and it is not for the purposes of Mary Kay recruitment. The Bingham is excited about providing you with this beauty opportunity. Reserve your spot soon and join the fun. Please, all attendees must be at least 16 years old.

Twilight Gala At The Mansion

Cookies & Cocoa with Mrs. Claus

Join us for a delightful event with Mrs. Claus herself! Enjoy a delectable assortment of cookies, coffee, tea, and cocoa while Mrs. Claus reads "Twas the Night before Christmas" and gladly answer any Santa or Christmas-related questions posed by the little ones. Each child make a Christmas craft to take home with them. Our event welcomes youngsters aged 3 to 8.
